Give every page a clear purpose
Write a specific title and description for each route. Keep the main heading aligned with the page topic, and make sure the first paragraph explains what a visitor can do there.
Set canonical URLs
Canonical metadata tells search engines which URL represents a page when alternate URLs exist. Use the real public domain consistently in metadata, internal links, and social previews.
Publish a useful sitemap and robots file
Include public pages that you want indexed in the sitemap. Keep private or utility endpoints out of it, and make the sitemap location available through robots.txt.
Use structured data that matches the page
Add JSON-LD only for information that is visible and accurate on the page. A portfolio can describe its owner and website; an article can describe its author, headline, and publication date.
Make pages easy to navigate
Use descriptive links, semantic headings, accessible labels, and useful internal links. These help visitors and search engines understand how your content fits together.
